Ray Terrill
Ray Terrill is head of engineering for Next Wave Radio. He has been almost continuously employed in the field of electronic communications since 1962. His experience ranges from his early days in advanced telecommunications to his work, since 1968, in radio, television and live performance venue engineering. He has occupied the position of Chief Engineer and Director of Engineering with several broadcasting organizations.
Ray served as head of engineering for Focus on the Family from 1989 through 1993, and was responsible for the design and construction of all of Focus on the Family’s broadcast facilities from its first headquarters building in Arcadia, California through to its present headquarters in Colorado Springs. He recently returned from a 7 year hiatus as a missionary to the disabled poor in the third world.
Ray has just completed work on a major High Definition digital facility for the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, and is Broadcast Editor for Technologies for Worship Magazine. top
John Dale
John Dale began his broadcasting career voicing donor announcements at the urging of a friend for KJHK-FM in Lawrence, Kansas. His experience with radio was so positive he decided to major in Broadcast Journalism at The University of Kansas. After graduation John went to Kansas City to work for Bott Radio Network. In 1998 John (married to Kristin by now) moved his family to Colorado Springs to work in Focus on the Family’s Broadcast Production Department, where he began as an audio editor, moved to producer and eventually became the Production Department manager. When not working with NWR, John enjoys home improvement related activities, KU Basketball and stage acting. top
Bobby Blue
Bobby Blue is the Program Director for our NWR Network formats. He has decades of experience in many aspects of broadcasting, as well as the television and recording industry. He was an early pioneer of the “Free- Form Progressive Rock FM Format” and has worked for numerous legendary radio broadcasting outlets in Los Angeles including KMET-FM, KWST-FM, and KNAC-FM.
After becoming a Christian in 1983, Bobby worked for Christian stations including KYMS-FM, Anaheim, CA, K-Love, Air1, Calvary Satellite Network and various advertising agencies. He has also produced National live call in shows like “New Life Live” and “The Bible Answer Man." Bobby currently resides in Orange County, California. top
